Shirley David YPL is a foundation set to help people, especially the young, find meaning and purpose to life early enough, to grow to full potential, overcome hurdles and learn to identify and explore for themselves the ways that lead to a fulfilled life for self and society.
Established in November 2016, the YPL vision was birthed at a crisis moment in the Founder/Vision bearer’s life. It has impacted thousands of people through its multiple community outreaches and helped hundreds through crisis moments in their lives as well. It was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission as “Parchment YPL Foundation” and later on in 2020, it took on a new identification as “Shirley David YPL Foundation.”
Some of the community outreaches include:
1) Sweet16;Sweeter26+ (for young ladies)
2) GuyPower;MANkind (for young men)
3) Lead4Kids (for the young ones and teens).
4) The YPL Mentorship Program; amongst others.
The founder, Shirley David-Aguebor oversees the activities of the Foundation with the support of her husband, David and a committed, selfless and simply amazing team.
